I found this fantastic tutorial on Hair Romance on how to do the perfect chingnon that looks so effortless and easy to do! I think this would look amazing on almost every hair type and looks so sophisticated. Take a look below at the visuals and follow the step-by-step instructions. Doesn't this look so elegant?

How-to:

1. Using a round brush, blow-dry hair smooth and straight, focusing on the top sections.
2. Once dry, use a large-barrel curling iron to create waves from the ears down.
3. Build height and volume at the crown by teasing hair gently with a fine-tooth comb.
4. Gather hair into a low ponytail. Twist it along the nape of your neck, pinning as you go.
5. Once you reach your ear, shape the remaining hair into curls, and pin them back over the twist.
6. Spritz strands in place.
7. To add texture, gently curl and scrunch the wispy ends with your fingertips.

StumbleUpon is seriously the best website ever. I've discovered so many of my favourite websites on it, everything from cooking, decor, to random websites with fun factoids and images.  Well, my latest addiction is DwellingGawker, a website that allows you to browse through different houses and rooms that have so much appeal and charm. Here are a few pictures that are making me giddy for when I can decorate my own apartment. 

Someone Like You

I'm a huge, huge fan of Adele's music. She also has flawless make up and hair. I wish I had the hair and make up to pull off these looks! Maybe one of these days I'll take a stab at it, but in the mean time, I'll drool over these pictures.

One of my friends told me about this amazing little website that allows you to make up word clouds by either choosing which words you want displayed or from a website. Naturally I chose to type in my blog URL and before I knew it, all of the most common words used on my blog popped up. This website could be used for a number of things, for presentations or homemade cards, or it could even be used as artwork for your walls. The possibilities are endless! In the Next Room

Valentine's Day is coming up in the next few days and everywhere you turn there are heart shaped cards and candy galore. I'm not a big fan of Valentine's Day, but I stumbled upon this cute gesture and I had to share. This would be a very sweet surprise and make your crush smile while handing him his favourite hot drink. Even being on the receiving end of this gesture would be adorable!

Floating in the Forth

Eeeps, I've been such a bad blogger lately. I haven't posted anything in over a week, terrible! I have a good excuse though, and that's credited towards studying for 2 midterms this week and a presentation that I have on Monday. I promise I haven't disappeared off of the face of the planet, and as soon as I get this pesky studying out of the way, I'll be back ;)
